Kaedyn was in a fire and experienced burns on 35% of his body – his arms, chest and part of his back. TherapyWorks has worked wonders with him on restoring his range of motion. He now has use of his arms again where before they were literally stuck by his side. For him to get to go back to being a normal, 9-year-old boy who loves to play basketball is amazing. They have also been able to rebuild his confidence to where he’s not ashamed of his burns.
When Trenton was born, the nurses noticed that his esophagus was not attached and he was rushed to surgery. Then, we found out he had a 3p chromosome deletion syndrome. Doctors didn’t think he would ever walk. Trenton started therapy at TherapyWorks when he was 3 ½ years old and took his first steps at age 5. It was pretty amazing! Now he walks, runs and plays basketball and baseball. TherapyWorks continues to work wonders in his life through physical, occupational and speech therapy.
